I graduated from the University of Utah in 2000 with a Master’s degree in Social Work. Since then, I have worked in a variety of mental health settings with a wide range of presenting problems including mood disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, autism spectrum disorders, and most recently, I worked in a residential treatment facility that focuses specifically on utilizing exposure response prevention to treat Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder and various Obsessive-Compulsive related disorders. I received training through the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute, and also received advanced training in pediatric Obsessive Compulsive Disorder through the BTTI.
I am excited to be working with people struggling with the symptoms of OCD and various anxiety disorders which can cause paralyzing levels of distress. My level of experience, education and expertise benefits the clients of Lifted Anxiety + OCD Treatment. When I am not working, you are likely to find me attending a yoga class, baking sourdough bread, and spending time with my family and friends. I have a great sense of humor and treat my clients with dignity, compassion and respect as they work through their issues so they may live a more fulfilling and satisfying life.
I have received specialized training from the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute to effectively treat Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and other OCD related disorders. I have also been trained through the Maiberger Institute to use Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to treat Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
