I am originally from Hermiston, Oregon and find my passions in sports, singing, and activities with family and friends. As a young man, I spent two years on a service mission learning the Spanish language and increasing my eagerness to love people around me.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Spanish. I was actually named the “Man of The Year” for the BYU-Idaho college of Religion and Social Sciences. BYU-Idaho is where I met my beautiful wife Kristin.
I worked as a youth sex offender counselor before deciding to pursue a Masters degree in Social Work at Eastern Washington University. Post education, I worked as a mental health/sex offender therapist including doing work for the departments of corrections in Washington and Oregon.
Since moving back to Utah, I have worked in Addiction Recovery, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Recovery, including ERP and OCD counseling for individuals.
